| | | WildPhotos 2008 Anyone heading to WildPhotos this year?
I went last year and it was great. It looks like another fab programme of speakers, especially Jim Brandenburg... I love his work. |

| | | Re: WildPhotos 2008 Out of my reach I'm afraid, especially as I've just signed up for Andy Rouse's "Visions of Light" seminar at WWT Arundel on 16th November. It looks a very good programme though.

| | | Re: WildPhotos 2008 Hmmm... I didn't think it was too pricey for the number and calibre of the speakers. When else do you get Frans Lanting, Doug Allen, Mark Carwardine, Tim Lamen, Chris Packham etc, etc all under the same roof?! |

| | | Re: WildPhotos 2008 I'm not saying it's bad value, far from it. It's just that I've spent too much on my hobby already this year and don't have the cash to spare for this.

I knew it was commercial, but I never realised that they were theat driven to make money Don't they give you a discount for spamming/free advertising on WAB?

you could see several different top line photographers speak for that much. Rouse is very good and the talks he does jointly with cornish are excellent, Chris packhams talk is well worth seeing (his own talk i mean not the 30 min introduction he is scheduled for at wildshots), and mark carwadine (though not a photographer per se) is a very entertaining speaker - though again i'd suggest seeing him at a solo event where he has less time pressure.
also if you want the business advice, getting published etc side of things you would be far better off with a course - numerous possible sources -though i'd personally give a big thumbs up to those run by annabel williams
