| | | CF Type I & II cards for Canon EOS 350D Hello All,
Well, the joyous day has arrived when I can afford my Canon EOS 350D .
I am looking for the best price on CF Cards Type I and II (1Gb). I've discovered a manufacturer called Viking who are reasonably priced, and seem to get excellent reviews whichever site I go to, so I would really appreciate it if you could give me some advice on where to get the best prices. Their may be other manufacturers who are just as good that I haven't heard of, so I'm willing to keep an open mind to find the best deal.
Thanks in advance for the help.

| | | Re: CF Type I & II cards for Canon EOS 350D Kingston are worth a look - check out digital depot. Mind you you can find decent deals on sandisk now - tescos have got 1gb sandisk cards for circa £40 - and staples had them a tad cheaper.

| | | Re: CF Type I & II cards for Canon EOS 350D I've bought CF cards of many makes, and never had a problem with any of them. I recently bought a 2GB card from 7 day shop for £38.00 (If I remember correctly!) It performs fine. Just make sure it's a fast card, (52X at least) it really does help when shooting continuously. |

| | | Re: CF Type I & II cards for Canon EOS 350D I use a Sandisk Extreme 3, 1GB Compactflash card. Bought it off amazon marketplace for around £39. The prices usually vary from £31 to £47. Only some of the latest cameras can take advantage of the really fast write speeds, but you still benifit with older cameras because the images download faster to the PC.
You also get a nice little zipped case and some data recovery software with it. |

| | | Re: CF Type I & II cards for Canon EOS 350D another thing to bear in mind is that some of the very high capacity cards dont work in all cameras - for instance the 4 and 8gb cards didnt work in the 300D - also some 4Gb cards have a tiny little switch on the side in one position they act as 2gb only, with 4gb on the other position

| | | Re: CF Type I & II cards for Canon EOS 350D I recently bought a 1gb cf card from 7dayshop for £14.99 have taken over 1000 shot with no problems all. There is no speed marked on the card but in test I have found that uploading to a PC from this card is just about identical speed to the SanDisk ultra II. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
