| | | cs3 batch actions are fab Given the torrential rain today, I've decided to devote whole day to adjusting workflow of pics. First chore was to convert my thousands of pics on ext hard drive from jpegs into tiff files.... v boring for 10 mins until I read up on the batch action command
I set the action to convert to tiff, chose a folder with approx 300 pics in, set the automated action and ....... lo and behold.... I went of to make lunch, have a coffee, do few chores, came back to pc and they're all done How amazing Gonna use this funtion a lot more methinks and am now glad it's raining

| | | Re: cs3 batch actions are fab I use 'Actions' for creating thumbnails & sizing images for my web site. It's an a great time saver. You'll find it in all the versions of PS. |

Just curious if I am missing something.
I agree about usefulness of batch actions though! |

I agree about usefulness of batch actions though! | Well everytime you potch with a jpeg and save, you lose quality, however, a tiff file keeps extra info so no loss of quality. As I frequently open pics and potch, I always keep a tiff original
