| | | Re: An illustrated Photography Journal Brilliant! Some really nice shots. I like the in-flight ones particularly as it is something I've been trying this weekend. I was pretty pleased with some of my results... until seeing yours! Keep them coming |

| | | Re: An illustrated Photography Journal You got some cracking shots there Chris. Gannets are my favourite seabird too, and a visit to Bempton in the breeding season is on my "must do" list. But it's rather a long way from me and doesn't look like it'll happen this year. Maybe next!

| | | Re: An illustrated Photography Journal Thanks for all the comments - much appreciated. Deerboy - I think the gannets at Bempton are trained to pose as soon as they see a lens!
Went to Skomer at the weekend, trying to get some flight shots of the puffins, a bird already on my list. This is the best I managed to get, helped out by a strong wind which was causing the birds to pause in the air while they stabilised themselves for landing.
I also couldn't resist a more cliched shot of a beakfull of sandeels - this one was surrounded by flowers which gave it an interesting setting.
More soon I hope! |
