What do you guys think, is this good enough to post in the gallery ? and also do I need to give the latin for the flower as well as the bee ? ( which might be a problem as I dont even know its common name, its called granny's red spiky thing in our house)

Definately! It's really good shot, I think you name the most prominant features in the pic so I wouldn't worry about the flower maybe  |

I would say it is good enough for the gallery and as the bee is the actual subject I would just give it the latin name for the Bee.
