Anyhoo, has anyone come across the above mentioned carbon fibre tripod at all?
I'm trying to compare it against A Manfrotto 055XPROB.

Hello pj and welcome to the site I have not encountered these myself but no doubt someone will be along shortly to answer it for you have you tried to do a search of them on internet and compare?
