| | | An evening with Andy Rouse I'll just keep it brief and I'm sure most of you are familiar with Andy Rouse's work. I know that some on this site have had contact with Mr Rouse and sing his praises very highly indeed. I wanted to know if Andy could really entertain for a full evening (personally as well as in pictures).
Just to say that we spent a pittance to go and see this master of his art at a local camera club last Friday night. The place was understandably packed. I didn't know quite what to expect (except jaw dropping green-eyed inducing photography) and wow, it didn't disappoint!
The talk was stunning, informative (from a wildlife perspective) and humourous. Oh how it was humourous. Any guy that has the metaphoricals to show a 'manhood'-shaped iceberg as his first slide gets my vote And it was downhill from there Heaven, not sure what the patrons of this particular camera club quite made of it!
Andy's passion for his subject and love of all things wild was evident in virutally everything that he said. Without wishing to cross WAB boundaries on advertising, I strongly recommend that if you get chance to see him talk, do. You won't regret it, just be sure to take a sense of humour along |

| | | Re: An evening with Andy Rouse I am very jealous. I was meant to see Andy at a local 'Evening With' but unfortunately my work stepped in the way and I could not go. After reading your thread, I wish I had. Sounds like you had a great night. . . .

Only thing is - should I give up wildlife photography? No way I will ever reach that standard. Perhaps I won't give up though - he has inspired me to keep on trying! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
