I am just wondering how well it would have worked in portrait format given the bird's posture taking off and away or coming in to settle.

| | | Re: Greylag Goose Thanks everyone for the kind comments..... It is nice to have some good critiques. Below is another shot, this time of a Bald Eagle which was taken at a local flying display. Such a graceful bird, but the photo does not do it justice as it was flying about 10 feet above the ground. Wonderful sight.
