I have visited the London Butterfly House every year for so many years and this year sadly they closed down because of redevelopment. They are moving to Lincolnshire so too far for me to visit but hopefully in the not too distant future London will again have a Butterfly house. I have visited other butterfly houses but none compared to The London Butterfly House at Syon Park, it was a magical place and so popular! |

| | | Re: some butterfly pictures Hello Elaphe what camera and lens were you using the photos are great but can be improved on if you could have focused closer on the main subject ...that is the butterfly...this also stops the viewer being distracted by the background and helps to emphasise the your main goal the butterfly also try to focus on the head/main body of the butterfly and the rest will be in sharp focus, please dont be disheartened the images are great these are just pointers to try and help you improve hope you will take it as intended.
Look forward to your next images.
Cheers...Bill |

| | | Re: some butterfly pictures Elaphe, I agree with Bill and would only add that you try to take the photo when the butterfly is resting, that way you will get a shot off the colourful wings. I know how difficult it can be as they tend to sense you approaching and take off but with practice you will get better shots. Good luck | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
