Canon EF-S 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS

Canon are releasing this lens this month and warehouse are pricing it at £239.

I have a 18-55 and a 100-400mm in my bag. I thought this might be a reasonable lens to use to fill the missing focal range in between my other lenses. Plus, the IS is always an advantage although it isn't USM.

Other possibilities are the 28-200mm f3.5-5.6 USM and the 55-200mm f4.5-5.6 USM. Anyone use these lenses?

Not really wanting to break the bank on this one so any suggestions in the £400 (the 28-300 L IS is off limits unfortunately) range would be appreciated.

Not used one myself but the 28-135 has IS and USM, is less than £300 and is well thought of.
Thinking of getting one myself at some stage as it seems to fill a large gap in my focal lengths.
