so thats a buzzard,i have had one of these hanging on my avery a few years ago,i went down the garden to see what all my birds were screeming at and there he was,i got right up close to him befor he jummped on the fence and flew away,only thing is i wish i had my camera with me at the time,by the way a warm welcome to wab,enjoy. |

Lovely shot. The buzzard has made a remarkable recovery in my area, 10 years ago I was lucky if I saw one. Nowadays they are thriving and on a walk in the hills last week I counted 42 all virtually motionless riding the air currents above the hills next to my village.  |

I see several buzzards on a daily basis but never got close enough for a pic, that's a lovely shot redwing. Belated welcome to WAB

Very nice shot. . . From a technical perspective, great depth of field, great use of 'rule of thirds' and good to see that the eye makes for the focal point. You have got it all in this shot. Well done and thanks for sharing.... |
