| | | First images on WAB
These are my first images uploaded to WAB any advice on them would be appreciated especially what I did wrong with the Mallard, I was happy with the blur on the wings but obviously nothing is in focus.
Apologies if I have uploaded these wrong!
Thanks

the mallard shot is not in focus, as you say. It's fine for the wings to be blurry but the head and eyes should really be sharp. Either your autofocus point wasn't locked onto the duck when you pressed the shutter or the shutter speed is too slow. It would be helpful if you provided details i.e. camera type, shutter speed, f number etc.
The darter shot is underexposed so you needed to let more light in (slower shutter speed or larger aperture (smaller f number)) or use a higher ISO setting. Failing that you could have used some flash.

I think it is slow shutter speed as none of the water looks sharp either.
If you adjust the levels on the darter it can be improved +++.
I've done it, but am told that the image is too small for uploading,
which I don't really follow as I've not changed the image size!! |
