I wouldn't go out without the 330. It suites me fine both as a walking support and a monopod.

I had one of these but its not as stable as the jessops one and its very tacky so I junked it.

The Jessops 330 isn't exactly expensive, it's well made, light and reliable..If it's good enough for Digi, it's certainly good enough for me..

Thanks for the warning Digi, the 7 dayshop people told me it would be at least 3 weeks anyway. The Jessops one it is then. I had one in my hand to buy the other day until I noticed the mounting plate was at a real angle. All a bit annoying really. The guy reckoned it was a dodgy batch so I'll try another store.

Personally I really rate the Manfrotto mono, i know its a bit pricier than the jessops one (closer to 50 notes than 15) but you gets what you pays for, and it takes all the heads that go on their tripods.
