Seriously though it looks ok for small lenses and is certianly waterproof. Also if you get in a fight you can alway duff them over the head with it! |

| | | Re: Low Pod/tripod I bought a mini tripod from Jessops for £19, then I did a bit of DIY, chopping off the limiters that stop the legs from spreading beyond a certain limit, then I fixed chains which were much longer to the eyes where the limiters had been. I also fitted round wooden feet with holes drilled in them so that spikes (nails) can be inserted if necessary. The end result was a tripod which folds up small enough to go in a day sack, and can be set up, rock solid, to support a camera or long lens only 5cm from the ground.
