| | Re: slide scanners Thanks for the advice. I have been doing some research (ie: going around in circles on the internet) and I keep coming back to the Nikon LS50. I'm gonna have to make a decision soon! |

| | | Re: slide scanners Might be better to do what I'm currently doing, going digital! I can understand though if you've a large slide collection that needs scanning in, and you haven't access to somebody elses scanner (which I have).
For the price of a good scanner, you can get a reasonable digital cam. |

| | Re: slide scanners Thanks to everybody for your advice on purchasing a new scanner. I have bitten the bullet (after going around in circles on the internet looking at reviews) and purchased a Nikon Coolscan V ED.
I ordered it on Tuesday and it arrived at 9am on the Wednesday, I was well impressed with the company I ordered it from after being let down by one of their rivals.. (My father-in-law ordered a new camera from the same company yesterday and that turned up today).
Have scanned 50 slides/images and they are looking good, 7500 to go....................... | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
