| | | Sigma Lens Repair. My Sigma 50-500mm lens recently developed a fault, the lens is just over 12 months old so I thought I'd have to utilise my Mack warranty to get it repaired. I contacted Sigma for a quote, as that's the procedure Mack ask you to do.
To my surprise Sigma has offered to repair it themselves at their expense.
I know that under consumer law I have a right to expect a lens of that value to last longer than twelve months, and if I hadn't got the Mack warranty I would have had a go at Sigma to cover the cost of the repair, but it makes a refreshing change for a company to actually make an offer to repair, without being asked to do so.
Nice one Sigma! |

| | | Re: Sigma Lens Repair. I had a Sigma lens repaired last year and the service I recieved from Sigma was first class.
They keep you informed at every stage and are always willing to help with any concerns that you have. The repairs are done to a very high standard and your lens is returned to you quickly via courier.
Its always nice to find a company that still believes in good customer service, top marks to Sigma |

I know from the first time they did the Bigma, they did what seemed to be a good job, the lens came back better than new. They've got the lens now so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
I'll have a word with Oscar, I'm curious! |

| | | Re: Sigma Lens Repair. Before I had my 170-500, I e-mailed Sigma with a query. I had the reply within the hour. Not an automated reply, a detailed explanation from one of their technicians.
I think Sigmas customer service is second to none.
