| | | Photo help, please.......... Can anyone tell me if there is a way of zooming in on photo's and saving it, ie I take a photo of a bird in the distance, put it on my computer and zoom in to make the bird fill the page, but I do not know how to save it like that, if it is possible. I am only using standard windows xp applications, but I do have microsoft picture it 10 and can't suss it on that either.
Please help, with no mention of photoshop..............Jon (?) |

| | | Re: Photo help, please.......... Picture it 10 must have a crop tool somewhere.
Simply crop a tight square around the bird and save, but be aware you will loose some image quality depending on the mega pixel rate of the camera it was taken with, and how large the bird was within the original image. |

| | | Re: Photo help, please.......... Sure it will be better.
It will also allow you to keep a better library of your images as it will file them for you. It only takes seconds to download, is free of charge and is extremely easy to use. You just have to play with it to get the hang of it and will regret not having it earlier.
You can get it here http://picasa.google.com/download/index.html

You click on this if it's a square, and then drag a square around the part of the image you want to crop to.
You then save this, giving it a new name and you've done it! |
