Birds in Flight

I'm no expert but I think the shots look fine. What stands out with eeyore and fourwings shots for me is the birds almost looking down the barrel of the lens Good luck with getting them to do that for you...

Over the past few weeks I've been using an SB800 with a flash extender and my 70-200 F2.8 VR lens for birds in flight and I'm now convinced that a bit of fill flash makes all the difference. Even when you have good light (see the last image of a Great Skua).

as this gives you lots of opportunity to gert to grips with the techiques of birds in flight without having to worry too much about field craft , camo etc.

Eeyore, I haven't commented on any photos before but the owl is just fantastic.
