altogether a bit of a non starter -
I would suggest that your best bet would be to either volunteer at a nature reserve emnabling the wardens to check your bonafides and check you out, then maybe eventually introduce you "their" badgers - or to go to a centre such as wildwood in kent, britishwilde centre in surrey or rothiemurcus in speyside who have habituated or captive badgers which can be photographed without fear of disturbance.

| | | Re: Photographing Badgers in Lancashire Hi,
Very true and very cautious of you. I should of known better really. I was meaning any parks or rehbilitaion centres that maybe in the area that house badgers or any hides that a trust has set up.
I am originally from cumbria and i have watched badgers for quite a no. of years on a local farm studying them and documenting there behavior. I read books of Ernest Neal and whomever else i could lay my hands on and quite knowledgeable on the subject.
It was the fact that i have moved to the area and cannot afford to travel back to cumbria each night to pursue my passion.
Thanks for your help.

Secret World Rescue centre - it's in Somerset - well worth a visit. I was there about 3 years ago. Secret World wildlife rescue : all about badgers

| | | Re: Photographing Badgers in Lancashire As eeyore suggested, I would recommend going to somewhere like the wildwood trust. Not only do you not risk disturbing wild badgers, they are nice and tame and easy to photograph
I mean tame lol | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
