| | | Re: Going digital but what lens? Hi,
I am grounded to the back garden and at push the local park (c. 100m away) until at least October when I might be limping without assistance! Still the positive thing is that I wouldn't have found this site (spotted it while off work the week after I tore the darn thing). All the terrific images made me think about the new camera and lens. And I have taken the opportunity to get a moth trap - a group I have never considered previously - again nudged by John's tale of a bad back....so it is not all bad. Well not for me but my poor partner is struggling with an additional child (we have four already!).
Thanks for the advice regarding tripods. I will get a bean bag and look into the options for the tripods before jumping in. I tried a few shots of some bumbles in my back garden (on the one day when we had sunshine) but holding it steady on on leg is a near impossibility, and it was windy!
Cheers
