Severn Bridge

I shall be going to Wales this weekend. I shall travel on the M48 and go across the Severn suspension bridge. Does anyone know of a decent stopping place or car park so that I can stop and take photos of it ?

If you come off the M48 at junction one its just before the toll and sign posted as Aust go round the roundabout under the motorway then either turn left and you'll end on a small lane with with some services on the left or a small lay-by on the right, then from there there are a few foot paths or keep walking down that road and you'll end up on the beach, its a long time since I've been there but I hope all that makes sense.
