The program for close-up is the Tulip-like flower symbol, this Automatically selects the smallest aperture(f16 to f32) but make sure the camera is well supported as it will also select a low shutter speed

Except on the Z20, it'll will work with whatever aperture is set. To maximise the amount in focus, use F8. The macro button is just above the shutter, not a seperate mode on this camera.
