| | | February Photography Competition Winners Here are the winners for February's photography competition. Congratulations on taking such incredible photos, I only wish that I'd taken them all
I don't know about anyone else, but I found it quite difficult trying to choose a favourite in each category. I'm certain that many of the images that didn't win their category would have sailed through to first place in most other competitions on the net.
Many thanks to everyone who took part. I'll add the images to the frontpage of the site this afternoon.
Cheers
Stuart Weather - glsammy's Ratcliffe-on-Soar
Landscape - John's 'Loch Garten at Dawn' Close-up - Rodoranger's 'Common Darter on a Log' Normal Category - Digi's Canada Goose February Category - Rodoranger's Snowdrop Banner - StuartDH's Damselfly

| | | Re: February Photography Competition Winners a most impressive line up, and could have produced another half-dozen as good from the other contestants.
Hope it will become VERY OBVIOUS what is up for March, as I confess to only discovering feb's just after voting had closed

| | | Re: February Photography Competition Winners As Stuart has said. There were some excellent entries to choose from but we want more next month. Let's make it a 100 times harder to pick a winner in March.
It would be great if not only could we have lots more entries but a very big increase on voters too.
BTW I'm glad you thought my Loch Garten photo was good enough to win that section. I love this photo as it is how I always see this lovely place looking just before first light.
Thanks for selecting it and congratulations to all the other catergory winners also.

| | | Re: February Photography Competition Winners Thanks very much to everyone that voted for my images, it was nice to have done so well
I would echo comments about an increase in the entrants for the next competition. I hope it gets even bigger next time!
I think it might be a good idea to make the competition more prominent on the site so that its easier to find?
Thanks once again and congratulations to the other winners!

| | | Re: February Photography Competition Winners Congratulations to my fellow winners and thanks for the votes..I'm chuffed! It's the first time any image of mine has won anything! There were some excellent pictures in there, but next time let's make sure there's more competition..AND far more voting. |
