I think I am going to get the Sigma 150mm for the canon. | I hear what you are saying about loving your fuji but it doesnt make any sense to have a back up camera which doesnt mount the same lenses as your primary (apart from anything else you wind up duplicating all your lenses which is a very expensive past time - or onecamera goes in for repair leaving you with virtually nothing to fit on the tother one)
if you really cant bear to part with the fuji (which IMO is the most sensible option) sell the canon and get a Nikon D2x instead , but do that before you buy any more lenses in Ef fit ( the sigma is available in nikon fit too)

I suppose a canon lens for a canon camera, but I do love Ollies pics....... | I am sure that in the right hands the Canon 100mm is just as capable as the Sigma 150mm or the Sigma 105mm. As Matt said I do think you need to consider the fact that the Sigma 150mm gives you a longer working range, plus it's HSM motor makes it virtually silent in operation, but then you need to decide if you want to hand hold or use a tripod, monopod.
At the end of the day and again quoting what Matt said you shouldn't go far wrong with any of these lenses.
Thanks for the vote of confidence on my photos as well, and yes I do swear by the Sigma 150mm and wouldn't swap it for any other.
