| | | Re: The Pump Goes Back it certainly will suck dust in - I coated a hired pump and my sensor with dust while covering a motoX event - but that was extreme circs , in normal usage the little ammount od dust sucked in is nothing compared to the ammount that ingresses while you are changing lenses in the field

I received a letter today, from Canon, telling me that they have received the lens and giving me a website to log onto to check its progress.
You fill in the order number, and the box number and it tracks the progress of its status

Thats given me hope, ive a 100-400 IS and its coated with dust but never sent it off as thought the cost would be a lot more.
So will be sending it in for a clean soon as.
