| | | 70-200 f2.8 IS I bought this lens today specially for a mates wedding and my first thoughts are that its a beauty. Does anyone have any tips how to get the best out of it?

Despite Oscar2006's advice, if I were you, Boddie, I'd use the built-in lens mount, rather than any kind of adhesive!

Only today though I could have done with it as I was trying to photograph a butterfly too high up for my macro lens. It is one of the sharpest zooms you can get and I intend to try and use it more often. Also if you put a 1.4 converter on it you there is hardly any difference in image quality. More often than not I just take it out and admire it.

I remember you having this lens and was awaiting your input. It really is a lovely piece of kit isn't it? I have had limited use of it and it seems sharp as a tack. At the weekend I intend to try for some insects with this lens and the 105 with a ringflash.

lense and has been said bike racing
