Matt | Ask Oscar about the warranty

| | | Re: Do I need a macro lens? Sigma UK will not touch any lens bought from overseas under warranty unless you have the warranty card stamped and a valid receipt (not paypal!) from the retailer.
My lens is back in Hong Kong at the moment with Sigma HK (via the seller)
they will either rectify or replace the lens for me.
Out of pocket costs.....about £25 postage to HK and 2-3 weeks without the lens.
Even the Japanese make some "Friday afternoon" products
(I'm assuming Sigma is Japanese??)

Now to take some images with my Siggy 150!

| | | Re: Do I need a macro lens? Check out onestop-digital for the Sigma 150 at £333.99. I'm too looking for a macro lens and can't decide between the Sigma 150 and the 105. The only thing that's putting me off the 150 is that I don't want to be tied down with a tripod - I do use a monopod. Summer will have probably come and gone before I've made up my mind |

| | | Re: Do I need a macro lens? you can hand hold the 150, and we all have some cracking images to show off but as Fourwings says in the other thread you will get a better, sharper image using a tripod.
