| | | What are RAW files? I've read a few of you discussing the pros and cons of RAW files. I've never come this type of file, is there a particular software you use to create these files or is it only certain cameras that use them?

the option to outpout these files is generally found on all DSLRs and on most bridge cameras , however it is not available on the more basic point and shoots which are limited to jpeg only

I must read instruction manuals................................
