Unidentified Garden Shrub?

Hi everyone,

New to forum, just inherited a quite wild garden and have found this plant (see attached pic) and was hoping someone could help identify what it is, I have checked a few books and cannot find it. Any help greatly appreciate.

A variety of Choisya? (Mexican orange blossom.)

Thanks for feedback, I can see the similarity but am confused as I have never seen it in flower, having only just moved into property. I assume at the moment it has gone to seed? I will look up and see if i can identify the variety. Thanks for help.

That looks very much like Euphorbia amygdaloides var. robbiae (aka E. robbiae) to me. The flower stalk in the picture is typical Euphorbia; the foliage is quite distinctive in E. robbiae too.

Thank you very much you are spot on it is as you say Euphorbia amygdaloides var. robbiae. I have been looking at the varieties of mexican orange blossom as suggested and could not find any with the what I assume are flower heads. As you can tell I am new to Gardening, and appreciate everyone's help with this.
