Carline thistles
Walking round a garden centre yesterday I was very surprised to find Carline Thistle plants for sale. Not a flower that immediately comes to mind when planting up a garden!

Not sure if these are as popular with the bees as other thistles. When I've found them in the wild the bees seem to be too busy with the Stemless thistles to bother with the Carline.
