| | | Attracive plant wanted. I have a gap about 1-2 foot wide under my front window that would allow 5ft hight before it would obscure the window its in full sun all afternoon..
I normally put a pot with plants in but they dry out when I go on holiday and die so I want something more permanent..
I would like some lupins and stonecrop as the bees love them but what else would be beneficial.
Cheers Elaine |

| | | Re: Attracive plant wanted. I shall go to the garden centre at the weekend and see what they have I will try a selection and campanula is a must for the front I love foxglove but not in this spot as they like shade and are a little big for here.
I love delphiniums so will try to squeeze in a couple at the back. |

| | | Re: Attracive plant wanted. I was going to say Nepeta but then remembered that you don't really want to be attracting cats. I did have some which my own cats completely ignored but all the neighbours' ones loved so much that they destroyed it by rolling on it.
Maybe Rosemary 'Miss Jessop's Upright' or another upright variety. Or perhaps Perovskia which is also good for insects. Also worth mixing with Verbena bonariensis which is taller than you want but the tall bits are very open.
