Daffodil in Flower

Hi

We have one daffodil in flower incredible as we are on the Solway (not sheltered) and there are others in bud ready to open.

I went to Kew Gardens today + there were quite a few of our native daffodil, Narcissus pseudonarcissus, out where they are naturalised on the mound opposite the Palm House.

I was wondering whether the unusually hot January would trigger a spring blossum in some flora, a little off the topic and probably quite stupid question, but is anyone aware of this ever occurring at this stage in the year?

Yesterday blossom came out in a neighbours garden, can't see what it is exactly and it was the first day of snow! There was a slight ground frost last night and today it's cold. We're forecast more snow tonight. Hope it doesn't kill everything off... finally some seasonal weather but everything's confused already.
