| | | Mini-Wildlife Gardening (tubs and trays) It is that time of the year, we hear about ponds and feeders and some lucky blighters planting huge hedges, do you feel left out a bit? Do you wish you had your own patch? Well how about a "Woolwell" that amazingly compact gardening system, comprising a couple of baking trays that will attract wildlife into the smallest spaces or a window box or by comparison a huge tub!
I make no apologises for resurrecting this thread, the amount of pleasure added to peoples lives when they start building their own mini wildlife gardens coupled with the imagination demonstrated by some people is well worth it.
We could make it competitive, photos always welcome, then back it up with what you have attracted. Wildlife Gardening Works !!!

| | | Re: Mini-Wildlife Gardening (tubs and trays) Thanks for resurecting that old thread Nightshade.
I've just dug a pond on my allotment, but I'm going to have to dig out my front garden and start over this year, so I might see if I can include a "Woolwell". Our front garden in tiny, but I'm sure I could include something. I'll have to put my thinking cap on. |

| | | Re: Mini-Wildlife Gardening (tubs and trays) Just been reading through the thread, it's a fanstastic idea and reminded me of the fact that I have the plastic base of an old rat cage sat outside doing nothing - would plastic be ok for this project? If so, might have to have a work with the mother about putting it near my veg patch | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
