| | | Re: Snowdrops nearly out There are some beautiful large patches of snowdrops growing wild around here. They looked stunning open in the full sun yesterday.
At the garden centre I saw a honeybee gathering pollen from some. Lovely. |

I used to have several cultivars but most have gone
This one seems to have green horse-shoes on the outer petals.
As you can see my crocus havnt opened up yet though.

Saw some poking through in the church yard at Attenborough and some in Colwick Park both Snowdrops and Crocus last week. Understand a cold spell is forecast for a lot of the country next week but we normally get one at this time of year and i hope it will be the last of this winter.
