We were thinking of picking some - there are black grapes which the starlings demolished in about a weekend, and white ones, which are now very ripe, very sweet. And just this evening a small hedgehog trundled across the patio (the pergola with the grape vines is above it) - and munched his way through some mixed seed we put out for the birds (seed, crumbled fat balls, suet, etc) - and then went on to have his 'dessert' - white grapes that had fallen to the patio floor.
And a newcomer to my fat ball feeder - a male blackcap, not particularly agile, but a welcome addition to the birds that visit. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
