| | | Buddleia bug Buddleias don't seem to have many pest species in this country but I've noticed some kind of beatle on my buddleia bi-colour "flower power" which seems to be damaging the leaves. It is a grey colour, lightly speckled with two distinct black spots on the wing case; one on top and one on it's bottom, and looks very much like a weevil. At the moment they are tiny, about 4mm long.
I will try and get a photo later if I can and would be grateful for an identification and any advice about whether this could cause any real damage if left unhindered.
Many thanks,
Susie |

If so, here is the advice from the RHS: Royal Horticultural Society | Advice Search | Figwort weevils

| | | Re: Buddleia bug I did an image search on figwort weevil and it is indeed that cheeky little sap sucker, in a light coloured form.
Many thanks again.
