Red face Esculapia
I've been a naughty boy! I was in Poundland today and purchased some butterfly weed - Esculapia as a nectar plant for you know what, well for £1 (just small new shoots showing) I thought I'd be stupid not too, though each pack came with a handful of peat (me and peat aren't the best of friends!) but hopefully the butterflies will be grateful should they do well, esp since I feel a terrible sense of guilt coming over me!!!

Have you got some Monarch butterflies too? Asclepia is their food plant. You could replace the peat with some good compost if your conscience plays you up!

Not as yet but if some should get blown off course, I can happily accommodate them. The young plants came in loose peat which I tipped into my blueberry tubs so it's not so bad.
