| | Esculapia I've been a naughty boy! I was in Poundland today and purchased some butterfly weed - Esculapia as a nectar plant for you know what, well for £1 (just small new shoots showing) I thought I'd be stupid not too, though each pack came with a handful of peat (me and peat aren't the best of friends!) but hopefully the butterflies will be grateful should they do well, esp since I feel a terrible sense of guilt coming over me!!!

| | | Re: Esculapia Have you got some Monarch butterflies too? Asclepia is their food plant. You could replace the peat with some good compost if your conscience plays you up!

| | | Re: Esculapia Not as yet but if some should get blown off course, I can happily accommodate them. The young plants came in loose peat which I tipped into my blueberry tubs so it's not so bad.
