| | | Re: My Garden Well done Gaz your garden has come on a treat and looks really good. The stone should provide cover for lots of insects and a food store and shelter for amphibians aswell as making the plants look more appealing. I'm sure after all your hard work wildlife will just love it!

Ive really enjoyed the garden this year, both working and sitting in it,it hasnt attracted as much as id like, but as said i hope it will improve .
In saying that the birds are doing well here,i had about 20 house sparrows flying around my garden yesterday morning,it was like heathrow ..but theyve attracted a sparrow hawk,so im stoping feeding for a bit!
Ive seen comma butterflies,1 blue,large/small white, moths(elephant hawk moth),chuffed with that one and loads of different types of bee's(got some nesting in my blue tit box, need moving).3 frogs and 2 toads also,i believe there from my tadpoles last year as they hadnt fully grown.Im looking forward to winter now to see what birds arrive, had quite a few last winter,so hopefully more will come.
I also have new plans, another pond-where the bog garden is,ill try and incorporate a bog garden into it,water fall and more stone walls..ive well and truly got the wildlife garden bug lol....keep on gardening!!!
Cheers
