| | | Bareroot trees and Snow advice please I had 2 pear and 2 apple trees delivered on the 15th and then redelivered on the 17th as I was out.
By that time it had started snowing. The companies website suggests leaving them out in the snow/frost and they can stay there indefinitely whilst the weather is freezing. If it is not freezing they will be ok in their packaging for 7-10 days.
I wont be at home from the 24th to 28th of december.
If the weather stays freezing during this time everything is fine.
If it warms up over christmas will my trees survive? Is their anything I can do to help them?
Thanks |

| | | Re: Bareroot trees and Snow advice please If they have been well packed in straw and hessian they should be OK if you put them in sheltered corner and cover them with some old carpet or something similar over the roots as an extra precaution, making sure they can't blow over.
