| | | Non frozen water for the birds. Aquire...an old type roadworks warning lamp (parrafin powered), place it on three bricks in a triangle, cover with an inverted plastic plantpot that supermarkets use for their blooms (usually green), that has had the bottom cut out and invert it over the bricks, light the burner.
Aquire a large plant pot stand, pot not plastic, fill with water and place on the plant pot. At night the burner gives out an eary green glow through the plantpot, but you can be sure the birds have a source of ice free water first thing in the mornings.  Cheers, Tony. |
