| | | Picky nick time for the blackbirds. Just put a load of well rotted manure around the bases of the apple and pear trees. The blackbirds go crackers digging out those worms too slow to get down out of sight. Cheers, Tony. |

We got a big bag of local cooking apples a couple of months ago, price one pound, stored them in paper, not touching each other, and they are still going strong. Best apple sauce, tangy taste to go with so many things and all for £1!
Better for me than the worms, but point taken.
