Flower-growing Clubs
Every town used to have its clubs whose members specialised in certain plants: roses, chrysanthemums, dahlias &c ...... do these still exist?

Some suggest that they're in decline because people are growing vegetables instead (I've always come into that category) but I suspect it's because people now buy in plants 'ready-made' and can't be bothered with all the difficulties of rearing things freom seeds or cutting?

Is this the worst pun in a title ......
