HI There,
Im a self employed gardener and Im VERY busy just now as the grass and hedges are still growing and now people are wanting their leaves raked up at the same time.Maybe its as well because leaves are much easier handled when newly fallen than when wet.

tell me about it , i am a national trails officer , and we are scheduled to be starting winter vegetation clearance about now but the grass and nettles are still growing - we normally do two mowing cuts per year , but this year we have done 3 and loook like we might need a 4th - not a small undertaking with 200+ miles of trail to maintain.

There is always an upside , means I get more tomatoes ripening and that last batch of swallows may just make it
