Got lots of those little Toads and it's bigger siblings in the garden.
Think they've divided it up into sections 'cos, i see the same ones (how do you recognise a Toad) in the same places.

I'd a gigantic Spider down the side of the fireplace when I moved in here. Had the big butch carpet fitter leaping up in the air, with a shrill cry. When he pushed the carpet into its lair. Relocated to the bathroom since I redid the hearth and left it homeless.

Since I've been pointing the camera at 'em, they're not bothering my nerves much at all.

Ah! Seems you have a 'Boris' ... that's a huge spider that appears from nowhere and scares the pants off ya by doing the 100mtrs in 5 seconds flat across yr livingroom floor when yr watching tv lol! - gotta love'em!!!!

And as for how do ya recognise a toad?.. simples!... they're all different in their own way

Quick update...

Whoever was messing with the barn next door has finally finished and all they did was replace the roof - what a relief!!!! It's still just a shell underneath and none of the undergrowth has been cleared so it looks like the wildlife still has somewhere to hide for the time being - yay!

I'm still getting visits from little toady, infact he was here tonight sat outside the back door and he's grown a wee bit lol

The wildflower troughs have done really well and a few of the plants are still flowering even now. The mass of ivy on the wall beside the barn is currently flowering and attracting alot of insects and a fair few butterflies too.

The barrel pond has had a problem with blanket weed and I've been 'twizzlin' it out when I get the chance, but the water is clear and there's certainly aquatic life forms in the water.

So yea... all in all I'm pleased with my little gardens progress so far Thanks for all your input guys'n'gals
