| | | Snow in Summer - Garden Plant? I have seen Snow in Summer on the local sand dunes forming really nice carpets all over the dunes. Is it possible that they will grow in my garden? Our soil is quite clay-y and theres only a few shrubs which grow. We've got some Cotoneaster, a Cypress and 2 Ash young trees. is it possible to take a cutting and get it to grow? Thanks |

| | | Re: Snow in Summer - Garden Plant? It's good on rockeries or tops of walls, planted in a little sandy soil. Will cover up nicely in a season. |

| | | Re: Snow in Summer - Garden Plant? Thanks for all the advice. There was a huge patch of the plant growing in a gap in the tarmac of a path in a thin layer of soil, so I was able to take some along with a bit of soil and roots. I've planted it in the garden so will keep you all posted Thanks again |

People have been removing the excess growth and dumping it with the result that it's all over the place.

| | | Re: Snow in Summer - Garden Plant? I got some from a massive patch near me. It was growing in a thin layer of tarmac. I brought some home with a bit of root and soil attached and have planted it in the flowerbed. Its looking a bit bedraggled at the moment but its probably just settling. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
