| | | Re: In my garden Thanks HW..
Its a shame I have to cover the pond as the dog is in it if I don't..
It makes photographing the newts really hard. |

| | | Re: In my garden Strictly speaking it's my parents garden (I moved back in with them about four years ago, it's a long story ... ), but it's got two Cuckooflowers growing in it.
I only became interested in wildflowers about three years ago, and was dead chuffed when I found Cuckooflowers for the first time last year, somewhere in Hertfordshire. So imagine my embarrassment when my Mother pointed them out to me in the garden, and said they'd been growing wild here for donkey's years!
Great idea for a thread, Kayleigh! |

I was walking across an estate today without the camera and came across a few delicate Cuckooflowers growing in long grass they are beautiful..
I wish I had them in my garden. |

These pics were'nt taken today but over the last couple of weeks. This blackbird has been back & forward bathing, drinking & collecting food for his young which now visit
This robin had just taken a bath in the pond also
And I just love the forget-me-not (whatever type it is) which seeded itself in a pot with cordyline
I'm sure I'll be adding more to this thread soon.........
