| | | Gardening books Can anyone recommend a good beginners gardening book in the "gardening year format". Alan Titchmarsh and the RHS do books, has anyone read these? are they any good? |

This is fantastic for a beginner, its very clearly laid out, has gorgeous pictures and fantastic key information sections.
Cannot reccomend it highly enough.
Really did come into play this time last year when I started planning my wildlife garden. |

| | | Re: Gardening books hi
alan titchmarsh bbc books did one a couple of years ago called 'the gardening year' that is very easy to follow. when you are ready for something more advanced you can't go wrong with the late great christopher lloyd's 'the well tempered garden'.

| | | Re: Gardening books I noticed that The Book People currently have a selection of discounted gardening books. Didn't notice the titles but it might be economic to have a look. |
