I'm amazed at how many different varieties of S/F there are. It's always nice to try something new.

| | | Re: WAB 2009 Tallest Sunflower Competition? Hi,
well i saved the seeds from my largest flower last year, which went to just a shade under 14.8ft, and already i have over 7 that have reached at least 9ft.
so far they have only a very small solid knuckle of a flower head.
1 is growing up into the apple tree, so i have no idea how thats gonna flower in there!
think im going to have to start taking some down as its making my garden look like a rain forest!
