What size pots have you got 'em in D? If you want them to get to any sort of size then you will need fairly large pots, I've never grown them in pots but Kayleigh has and had some success last year so perhaps she can advise??????? |

Got a meals worth of spuds that just came up from the compost that was left over from last year. |

A flyer that came with a magazine advertised 4 x bags to grow potatoes in with 20 seed potaoes ,4 different varieties for £16.00 sent of for it all you do is as the shoots come up you keep topping up with compost to within 1inch of the top,she also has cabbages in beside the herb and what used to be a rockery also carrots lettuce and strawberries in long troughs and all doing well the runner beans up the trelli beside the bird station

I am a young allotment holder well 28 now lol
I have all ways grow sunflowers on my plot for the last four years or so.
Now We Have a competition with some of the plot holders. My personal best is a little over 3m (10 ft) or so
I am going for it this year again As I lost last year.
I am growing them were my compost heap was last year. They are about 18" tall now.
Thay Are Russian giant.
I Just Do It for the fun
Last year the person who beat me grow them in amongst the beans
the sunflowers did well but the beans did not so well |
