We've planned to use as many natives as possible, it's still a work in progress until plants are in season and we can purchase them. It's still looking a bit bare until we can do that but I'm in no hurry - I figure it'll be next year until it'll begin to blend in

Here's the latest view we get of our pond
It's looking a bit green but we've not got the floating plants yet - we're waiting on some natives which are a bit late because of the colder weather earlier this year, apparently.
We've seeded the lawn at the further end so in a few weeks that should be growing well. I'm still really enjoying it!
